Making Silo Extraction Easy
The KREISEL flow control valve, also known as a dosing roller, with its dust-tight shut-off or metering function serves as a silo extraction device where controlled flow is paramount.
In addition to the opening/closing function, the KREISEL flow control valve can also be used as a control element. With a KREISEL flow control valve, subsequent plant areas are fed via air slides: e.g., pre-containers for pneumatic in feed devices, weighing containers, truck or railcar bulk out loading, or flow meters.
The relatively simple and robust design of the our flow control valves guarantees its reliability and makes it a frequently used extraction component from storage silos. Thanks to the use of different opening cross-sections in its interior, it can function excellently as a fast shut-off device or also as a finely graduated dosing device.
The flow control valve can be controlled pneumatically as well as with geared motor, and any possible opening angle can be achieved via an attached positioner control unit.
Due to the high-quality seal located in a separately accessible cassette, long service lives and ease of maintenance are ensured.
The flow control valves are available in various standard sizes, and can be supplied with custom adapter units for cases where an off-standard size is required.
