Advanced Rotary Valves for all application
All are certainly not created equal when it comes to Rotary Valves. KREISEL Rotary Valves set the standard when it comes to quality, reliability and when you need something special for difficult applications. KREISEL has a range of specialised rotary valves of which some are unique solutions only offered by KREISEL. Pro-Op Industries have been representing KREISEL in Africa for the last 5 years and together we have positioned the KREISEL ceramic rotary feeder as the market leader in South Africa and we are poised to increase the our footprint in the rest of Africa. Pro-Op Industries have also been appointed as the official distributor for KREISEL in South America.

The KREISEL Ceramic Rotary Valve is the pinnacle of these class of valves. The rotor housing is lined with ceramic tiles and then machined to very fine tolerances. Due to superior wear resistant lining the KREISEL Rotary Valve is the best solution to feed dry bulk powders into pneumatic conveying lines and therefore it is often referred to as the KREISEL Ceramic Rotary Feeder. This technology has become the standard to replace old screw pump technology, which is very energy intensive and mostly unreliable with subsequent high maintenance costs.
Advantages
- Very low energy – Payback in less than 1 year when replacing a screw pump
- Very low maintenance
- Valve designed to be rotated allowing for 4 times longer life (Follow the link to the left for clarification)
- Reliable (Basically zero breakdowns)
- Easy to install and commission
- Smaller footprint than screw pump
SELF CLEANING ROTARY VALVE
The KREISEL Self Cleaning Rotary Valve opens up new opportunities for operations processing sticky raw materials with high moisture content. The self cleaning rotary valve is fitted with a blade driven by a fixed ratio sprocket system with the valve rotor. Each cell or compartment of the valve rotor is scraped out by the blade.
Advantages
- Can handle sticky and moist bulk material
- Flow rates of up to 750t/hr
- Pressure rating of up to 10bar
- Low energy consumption
- Low maintenance / High Reliability

KREISEL ROTARY VALVE

All KREISEL Rotary Valves are fabricated with a robust steel construction with the utmost attention being paid to quality and ultimately reliability of components. When using KREISEL rotary valve you can expect a reduced cost of ownership due to an increased life expectancy of the main components and reduced overall maintenance cost. The increased reliability and reduced time for maintenance results in higher available capacity on your equipment.
Advantages
- Robust construction
- Lower maintenance
- Lower cost of ownership
- Better sealing
- ATEX certification where required
